Achieving the title of Miss Minnesota was about much more than winning a crown; I won the opportunity to impact lives. I have been given a chance to share my message of helping children overcome challenges by becoming more closely connected with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. This organization touches the lives of more children and their families than any other children's charity, providing comfort, treatment, hope and happiness to millions of sick kids each year. Inspired by the determination and resilience of these children, I decided to record a CD of beautiful lullabies not only to give them a sense of calm during difficult times, but also to raise money for this necessary and worthwhile case.
